The SP3051-04HTG transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode array from Littelfuse integrates low-capacitance, rail-to-rail diodes with an additional zener diode to protect I/O pins against ESD and lightning-induced surge events. The robust device can safely absorb 20 A of current per IEC61000-4-5 (tP = 8/20 s) without performance degradation and a minimum ±30 kV ESD per IEC61000-4-2.
The device’s low loading capacitance makes it ideal for protecting high-speed signal pins such as 1 Gb Ethernet. It features low dynamic resistance of 0,3 and low capacitance from I/O to GND (3,8 pF @ 0 V DC bias; 1,7 pF @ VCC = 5 V, VI/O = 2,5 V).
