The Vitronics Soltec 6746 is a selective soldering automation work cell that delivers high throughput and flexibility while minimising its footprint in the factory. Inline processes and intuitive programming features enhance the automation capacity of the work cell.
All process controls are recipe driven, and can be automatically selected/verified via barcode identification. Network capable management info/traceability automatically collects and delivers the data required by today’s high-reliability automotive, military and medical customers. Process scalability is provided by optional features that extend the automation capacity without increasing footprint.
The system’s inline design provides parallel processing for fast cycle times, while a gripper system with 10° tilt ensures process flexibility. The 6746 supports boards up to 410 x 410 mm in size and components up to 91 mm in height.
Standard features include a SelectWave solder pot, teach camera, pressurised flux supply, X-Y fluxer, inline preheat and an SMEMA interface. Available as options are closed-loop preheat control, offline programming system supporting DXF import, advanced solder drainage conditioner, dual-nozzle SelectWave, PCB warpage compensation and an advanced process viewing camera.
