With the new RACD07, Recom has added a new low-cost, constant-current LED driver to its portfolio. Thanks to its universal input range of 90 – 295 V a.c., it is suitable for worldwide use, and supplies 7 Watts with options of 250 mA, 350 mA, 500 mA or 700 mA.
To facilitate installation for applications with limited space, the connections are located on one side of this compact device, which also includes a grounding clip for screw mounting. The RACD07 is compliant with IP67, meaning it can be installed in moist rooms like sanitary facilities or basements as well as exteriors. The driver is short circuit and over-current protected and has a high isolation voltage of 3750 V a.c. between input and output.
The RACD07 is certified to EN61347, EN61000-3-2 Class C as well as EN55015. In addition to a long design lifetime (MTBF > 200 000 hours) it comes with a 3-year warranty.
