BCcomponents' new addition to its family of snap-in aluminium electrolytic capacitors - the 197 PGP-SI, is a general-purpose power capacitor targeting consumer applications such as audio-visual equipment, domestic appliances and PCs.
According to the company, the 197 PGP SI is ideal for market products that have set life expectancies such as that of the consumer electronics market.
The 197 PGP-SI capacitance range is 56 to 1800 µF and its voltage range is 160 to 450 V, depending on case size. The category temperature range is -40 to +85°C and the product's load life and useful life at 85°C is 2000 h, while its useful life at 40°C is 25 000 h.
