Epcos is a leading supplier of NTC probes for the world market. The company offers a range of NTC probes that are designed for applications in home appliances.

The M2020, for temperature measurement in refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, floor heating, is a thermistor in a moulded plastic case. With PVC-insulated connecting cable its construction is based on DIN EN 60730-1/VDE protection Class 2.

50 000 temperature cycles are guaranteed and various ohm values and tolerances are available.

The K276, for temperature measurement in washing machines, dish washers, tumble dryers, water boilers, is suitable for use in corrosive environments. With compact stainless steel case, the construction is based on DIN EN 60730-1/VDE protection Class 2. FASTON 5 and 2,5 plug terminals are available and insulation test voltage is 3750 V.

The M500 air sensor for air conditioning has epoxy resin encapsulation and PVC-insulated twin wires with tinned ends, AWG 26, TMAX = 105°C. Alternative rated temperatures and various wire lengths are available on request and various ohm values and tolerances are offered.

The K500 thermistor for air conditioners for regulation of evaporator temperature features a copper case. With PVC-insulated twin wires with tinned ends, AWG 26, TMAX = 105°C, 100 temperature cycles in liquid (silicone oil or inert liquid) from -30 to +100°C is guaranteed. Alternative rated temperatures are available and various ohm values and tolerances.

Also, the J301 for standard oven temperature sensing to 500°C the J303 for automatic cooking controls in microwave ovens, and the J900 humidity sensor for microwave ovens and cloth dryers are also available.
