Farnell element14 announced that it will exclusively stock Würth Elektronik’s new range of signal light emitting diodes (LEDs), with primary applications as status indication in electronic equipment and in the industrial electronics sector, but also in many other applications such as scoreboards, keyboards, display panels, vending machines, audio and Hi-Fi equipment, toys, background lighting for mobile applications and more.
The compact LEDs are available in a selection of colours and radiation angles, and feature fast switching times and low current requirements. They are endowed with a number of extra practical features, for example the chip LEDs feature optical polarity marking of the cathode on both the top and the bottom for clarity, to allow for visual checking after assembly.
