ERNI Electronics has expanded its D-Sub connector family with a new ultra-slim version.
The Slimline D-Sub reduces the board space necessary to only 33% of a conventional model, and the robust connector is perfectly suited for industrial I/O interfaces subjected to the ongoing trend of miniaturisation.
The connector is available as a right angled, 9-pin version with surface mount technology. Additional solder pegs assure reliability against mechanical stress and thus offer safety margins for use in rough industrial environments. The plugs and sockets are provided in tape-and-reel packaging qualified for fully automated board assembly and modern reflow soldering processes.
