Ultralife USA announced the release of the UBP001 rechargeable Li-ion thin cell battery, with a voltage range of 3,0 to 4,2 V, capacity of 1,75 Ah (at C/5 rate and 23°C) and an operating temperature of -20°C to 45°C.
It weighs 41 grams and measures 54,0 x 36,0 x 11,0 mm.
The battery has a PTC of 2,1 A hold current at
25°C and packs 6,5 Wh with an energy density of 158 Wh/kg. It has a cycle life greater than 500 cycles @ C/5 to 80% of initial capacity and exhibits no memory effects. Its recommended charge rate is 875 mA to 4,2 V in a temperature range of 0°C to 45°C. The battery has a self-discharge rate of less than 10% per month.
The UBP001 has an exterior cover consisting of PVC shrink wrap, and is ideal for tracking devices, medical equipment, emergency lighting and warning light systems, and any other portable electronic devices. Samples are available in one week.
