The OV2724 is OmniVision’s smallest full high definition (FHD) CameraChip sensor designed specifically for secondary camera applications in mobile devices. With a module size of just 5 x 5 x 3 mm, it can deliver high frame rate 1080p/60 HD video with high sensitivity and dynamic range, making it a relevant front-facing camera solution for next generation smartphones, tablets and Ultrabooks. Its improved pixel performance ensures high-quality video recording even in difficult high- and low-light shooting environments. The OV2724 improves image quality by reducing or eliminating common sources of image contamination, such as fixed pattern noise and smearing, to produce a clean, fully stable colour image.
