High current base-mount filters

Circuit & System Protection
Recently added to Bulgin's filter range is an extensive selection of base-mounting types. These high current filters are designed largely for industrial applications, with current handling capabilities up to 20 A at 250 V a.c., 50-400 Hz.
Many different variations are available, including single and two-stage filtering, tab or stud terminations and three different case sizes. All are fully encapsulated and carry UL and VDE safety approvals.
The filters offer very good size to performance ratio, particularly the PS02 version 4 which measures only 45 x 22,5 x 18,5 mm (excluding tabs) but is rated up to 10 A, making this one of the smallest mains filters available in the marketplace.
The larger filters, PS02 versions 6 and 7, are designed for higher current applications, with 5, 10, 15 and 20 A models available. The PS04 range has two-stage filtering, providing additional attenuation where applications demand. Terminations are either push-on tabs or M4 studs, these give a very secure fixing, useful where equipment is subject to vibration.
