LEM has released a range of very high-accuracy AC/DC current transducers, designated ‘Ultrastab’ .
Transducers are available for the measurement of current from 12,5 A to 24 000 A. Linearity errors are of the order of 4 ppm and temperature coefficient is 2 ppm/K. Frequency response is typically DC to 500 kHz, with accurately followed di/dt of 20 A μs; response time to 90% of the nominal current is typically 1 μs.
Applications include feedback elements in precision current regulated devices, calibration units, precise and high-stability inverters, energy management and medical equipment.
