NK Technologies has introduced low-cost current operated switches which consists of a compact case and a solid-state relay. By simply passing the primary conductor through the aperture, the self-powered AS1 unit utilises a solid-state relay that opens or closes once the threshold of 0,5 A is exceeded.
Typical applications will include quick reporting of motor load status, identifying open circuit heaters, independent verification that a load is energised, and confirmation of operation of critical lighting equipment.
In addition to the solid-state relay device, NK also offers the Amp Flasher, which is also self-powered, and will give a flashing LED indication of an energised load.
