LEM has released the new HLSR/HO series of current transducers utilising advanced ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) technology.
The new transducers are available in nominal currents of 10, 20, 32, 40 and 50 Amps and operates on a single +5 V or +3,3 V power supply. They are available in surface mount and through-hole packages.
The new parts are specified from DC to 400 kHz over the -40°C to +105°C temperature range, and feature a response time of 2,5 s and accuracy of 1%.
The HO series are interactive, user-programmable current transducers which users can configure by setting their operational characteristics using a simple microcontroller interface. Over-current protection is available on a dedicated pin.
