LUMAWISE LED holders from TE Connectivity are engineered to ensure optimal LED placement by integrating electrical, mechanical, thermal and optical connectivity.
The products are designed for common thermal interface materials as well as secondary optical interfaces for off-the-shelf optics.
Compatible with Cree, Nichia, Osram Opto Semiconductor and Philips Lumileds ranges, the holders simplify installation with snap-in retention to help secure the LED to the holder before mounting. Further time can be saved thanks to a poke-in wire connection that eliminates the need to solder the LED.
LUMAWISE’s mechanical construction minimises the influence of thermal plastic deformation by providing contact force and electrical connection over a wide range of operating temperatures. It also provides a stable landing area for additional secondary optics and ensures a firm mechanical fit to the LED holder with a smartly designed optic feature supporting Carclo, Khatdo, LEDIL and other optics makers.
