Fischer Connectors has extended its FibreOptic series with the addition of a new hybrid connector featuring two fibre channels and two electrical contacts in a single housing. The rugged system allows both power and data to be transmitted through one connector to save installation time in indoor and outdoor environments.
The hybrid FOH 2-2 benefits from a mono-block mate adaptor for easy access to ferrules to ease field cleaning and maintenance. The push-pull plugs and receptacles ensure ingress protection of IP68 when mated and IP67 when unmated, with gas-tight panel receptacles also available. The electrical contacts are rated to 400 V and 10 A each, while the fibre contacts support single-and multi-mode fibre.
