White LEDs with high CRI

Osram Opto Semiconductors’ Duris portfolio has been expanded with the addition of two new LEDs with colour rendering index (CRI) of more than 90. Since they are ideal particularly for applications where colours have to appear as natural as possible, the new products will find use primarily in the home and in retail stores.

The dual-chip version of the new Duris S 5 has a high luminous flux value of 83 lm at 150 mA (typically at 3000 K); its typical forward voltage is 6,35 V. The single-chip variant features 20,5 lm flux at 65 mA with a typical forward voltage of 2,90 V. Both models measure 3,2 x 3,0 mm in size.
