Analog Devices introduced new highly integrated RF ICs for multiband base stations and point-to-point (PtP) radios. The ADRF6720 I/Q modulator, ADRF6820 I/Q demodulator and ADRF6612 dual-mixer are ideal for designs for 3G/4G communication, microwave PtP radios, military/aerospace and instrumentation applications. They feature an embedded low phase noise synthesiser, RF switch and balun, digital step attenuator (DSA) and programmable linearity optimisation. All three devices are specified from 700 MHz up to 2,7 GHz, and are available in LFCSP packages measuring 6 x 6 mm or 7 x 7 mm.
