Euroquartz has launched a new range of surface mount temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs) for use in portable electronics applications. The EM22S package measures just 2,5 x 2,0 x 0,8 mm and offers temperature stability from ±0,5 ppm over -20°C to +70°C. It is available with supply voltage variants for 1,8 V, 2,5 V or 3,0 V.
Offering frequencies from 13 to 52 MHz, specifications include clipped sine output waveform, initial calibration tolerance of ±2 ppm maximum (25°C 1 hour after reflow), output voltage level (peak-to-peak) of 0,8 V minimum to 2,0 V maximum (load 10 k/10 pF ±10%), current consumption of 2 mA maximum for frequencies up to 26 MHz and 2,5 mA maximum for frequencies above 26 MHz. Startup time is 2 ms maximum.
