The new HBD series of manual service disconnect switches from Gigavac incorporates new patent pending technology to deliver enhanced protection from hostile environments.
All models in the range are hermetically sealed and exceed IP67 and IP69 requirements.
The battery disconnects are available in three variants: HBD21, HBD31 and HBD41 featuring 200, 300 and 400 A continuous current carry, respectively. Lightweight and measuring about 10 x 12,7 cm, they boast less than 50 mV voltage drop at rated current, under any weather conditions including salt spray and at temperatures from -55°C to +85°C.
The switches incorporate an environmentally durable fibre composite housing providing additional protection from the ravages of sun and water.
