Thermal profiler with companion app for mobile devices

KIC recently débuted its new thermal profiler, the K2, at NEPCON China. It builds on KIC’s philosophy of compact and robust hardware that measures profiles accurately, even in harsh environments. The plug-and-play hardware and graphical user interface make profiling both quick and easy.
The KIC software enables each thermocouple to use its own unique process window, while the optimisation software automatically suggests the best oven setup to process the entire PCB and components in spec. This convenience, combined with high speed, allows oven setup in a few seconds.
The profile data measured by the K2 now can be viewed on a PC as well as on authorised Android and Apple mobile devices. The Mobile Profile Viewer app is also WiFi and Bluetooth compatible. The profiler also features failsafe software that reduces the opportunity for error. It enables a responsible process engineer to set the quality parameters while letting operators or technicians run the profiles.
