The SQXO-2ATHG range of very high shock survivability oscillators launched by IQD are housed in a TO-39 package and can withstand shock levels of up to 8000 G for 0,5 ms (½ sine). They are designed primarily for applications such as underground boring tools, downhole instrumentation and avionics applications including flight recorder equipment and onboard computers.
Frequencies are available from 32,768 kHz up to 50 MHz and operation can be specified from either a 3,3 V or 5 V supply, providing a CMOS output and a startup time of under 5 ms. High temperatures are catered for by variants which operate up to 200°C.
Current consumption is as low as 3,0 mA which again lends itself to applications in remote locations where easy access is not always possible. Standard packaging is in a tray and the devices are fully RoHS compliant.
