Weller recently introduced a modified version of its popular WSD 81 soldering station. The new WSD 81i features easier operation and a modern design, with maximum output of 95 Watts covering most soldering applications.
The previously required external input device is no longer necessary because all applications are now combined in the new station. High precision is offered via a temperature lock that makes it possible to work to exact specifications. Tool identification is performed automatically after soldering tool replacement and no calibration is needed.
A wide range of matching soldering irons and accessories is available, making this station suitable for all soldering applications; the WSD 81i offers nearly 1000 soldering iron and tip combinations. The station is manufactured to high quality standards, is energy efficient and offers an attractive price-performance ratio.
