Globalstar has reduced the size of its STX satellite transmitter by two thirds to help its customers design and build compact and efficient communication devices. Using the Globalstar Simplex data network, the STX3 opens up new opportunities for integrating satellite connectivity into compact products used for vehicle and asset tracking, remote data reporting and data-logger reporting.
The nRF51 DK is a low-cost, single-board development kit for Bluetooth Smart, ANT and 2,4 GHz proprietary systems using Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF51 system-on-chips. It is hardware compatible with the Arduino Uno Revision 3 standard, and supports a development toolchain using Keil, IAR, GCC and ARM’s mbed.
