Pick-and-place conveyor for large LED boards

TWS Automation has developed a conveyor system for its Quadra DVC Evo pick-and-place machines that handles boards up to 1200 mm long, specially designed for LED lighting applications. For flexibility, the system can be supplied in four configurations, with working plates of different sizes (850 x 200 mm, 850 x 350 mm, 850 x 420 mm and 1200 x 200 mm) to accommodate a wide range of boards/panels.

Installation and setup are fast and easy, with the conveyor positioned in place of side feeder banks (from two to four for each side, depending on the size of the chosen plate). The control software provides an effective and accurate assembling process of the board in two or more shifts.

For users assembling big panels, this solution is well complemented by adding TWS’s new SR2720 semi-automatic printer with a printing area of 850 x 420 mm.
