Eaton’s C308F fuse series is specifically designed for intrinsically safe network protection used in hazardous environments. Available for SMT or THT mounting, it is a 3 x 8,4 mm ferrule fuse with 250 V a.c. rating and exceptionally high breaking capacity (4000 A) to safely disconnect very high short circuit current without rupturing.
Offering very low DCR values, these compact fuses provide a space-saving alternative to conventional fuse solutions and meet EN60079-11 specifications for hazardous applications.
