Bourns has introduced the high-voltage CHV series of thick film chip resistors. The surface mount components come in five different footprints from 1608 metric up to 6432 metric and are designed to operate up to voltages of 200 V for the 1608 size and 3 kV for the 6432 size.
These UL 1676 listed resistors are manufactured using a robust thick film element printed onto a ceramic substrate. They are suitable for consumer electronics as well as other applications operating at high voltages.
