RECOM announced the release of three new medical-grade DC-DC converters with 250 V a.c./2MOPP certification. The REM3, REM6 and REM10 series offer 3 W, 6 W or 10 W output power respectively, in a DIP24 case.
The devices feature reinforced 5 kV a.c./1 minute isolation with low 2 μA leakage and are certified to 60601-1 3rd edition for 250 V a.c. continuous operation. The compact DIP24 package offers 2:1 or 4:1 input voltage ranges and tightly regulated single and dual outputs, even under no-load conditions. The outputs are short circuit and overload protected. High efficiency of 89% means that the operating temperature is from -40°C to 105°C.
The converters are available in two different pinning options, and optionally with an external control pin for standby consumption as low as 12,5 mW. The converters are fully certified to CB, IEC/EN and ANSI/AAMI standards, carry the CE and UL marks, and come with a three-year warranty.
