Tektronix and Keithley, global suppliers of test equipment for engineers focused on electronic design, manufacturing and advanced technology development, have appointed Comtest as their authorised distributor in South Africa and selected countries in southern Africa.
With headquarters in Oregon, USA, Tektronix and Keithley have, for the past 65 years, provided solutions for test, measurement and monitoring problems. Commenting on the appointment, Tektronix’ director of UK, Middle East and Africa sales, John Winderam, said “The appointment of Comtest as the Tektronix and Keithley authorised distributor for southern Africa represents a positive step in the evolution of our business. Comtest has a track record of delivering complex test and measurement solutions, and high-level customer satisfaction in all areas of the market in which it operates. This will be of major benefit to Tektronix and Keithley customers going forward.”
Barend Niemand.
Comtest managing director, Barend Niemand, expressed his delight at the signing of the distributor agreement and is confident that this new partnership will take Tektronix and Keithley to new heights in South Africa. “We are 100% committed to Tektronix and Keithley, and we are 100% behind the brand,” says Niemand. “Adding Tektronix and Keithley to the Comtest stable means Comtest can now deliver a better solution to the market.
