The WISE (Web Inside, Smart Engine) series of intelligent controllers, data loggers and data acquisition and control modules from ICPDAS provide remotely accessible control systems for industrial applications.
The built-in control logic, together with the easy-to-use setup software, allows the integrator to setup systems without having to program, debug and test complex control software.
Control modules can be programmed and accessed over an Ethernet network. This also allows multiple users to have access to information from the remote sensing and data acquisition modules. If the Ethernet network is linked to the Internet, this facility is available from any location where there is an Internet connection.
Programming of the WISE controllers is simple using the built-in IF-THEN-ELSE rule engine. The setting of the rules for operation can be done remotely via Ethernet or even over the Internet. The WISE controllers can also integrate SMS capabilities, allowing logic rules to be triggered and data accessed from within the controllers via SMS. Alarm notifications can be triggered and sent via SMS or email.
The WISE controllers can have data acquisition and control boards connected directly, or link via RS-485 to a complete range of modules providing analog input and output, digital input and output, pulse and frequency input, RTD sensing, temperature sensing, relay output, and switch input up to 250 V a.c. The controllers’ capabilities include Modbus TCP communication, SMS send and receive for real-time monitoring and logic control, sending of emails, and data logging and transmission.
