Spectrum analyser for iPhone and iPad

Oscium’s spectrum analyser was a finalist in the 2015 edition of the R&D 100 awards, which single out the world’s most significant innovations across several fields of application. An independent panel of more than 70 judges selected Oscium’s iPad spectrum analyser (WiPry-Pro) for the prestigious award.
WiPry-Pro is significant because it merges the test equipment industry with the smartphone and tablet industries. This approach makes for a 2,4 GHz spectrum analyser that is uniquely portable, intuitive and modular, and enables wireless troubleshooting to be performed on an iPhone or an iPad.
Commenting on the challenges of developing Oscium’s innovative product set, founder and technical team lead Matt Lee said, “All our products are ultra-low power. And since all our products use power from the host device (like an iPad or an iPhone), the impact to battery life is extremely small. We’re proud of this product and love impacting the future of test equipment.”
