Surface-mount screen printers

The technologically advanced screen printers from Korean manufacturer ESE are built to the highest quality standards, with all major components – including printing table, camera and squeegee - controlled by high-precision servo motors instead of stepping motors and belts, for consistently high accuracy.

A highly stable design allows uniform squeegee pressure across the entire width of the table and a printing accuracy of 12,5 microns, for components down to 01005 (0402 metric) and pitches to 0,3 mm. A Cognex vision system features an up-down CCD camera and four separate LED rings for fast, accurate recognition of PCB and stencil fiducial marks.

Real-time, 2D solder paste inspection (SPI) is standard, and a closed-loop feedback option allows automatic adjustment of the printing registration by a downstream SPI system. The ESE stencil spray-cleaning system features programmable wet, dry, vacuum and air-blow modes for fast, thorough cleaning, as well as a programmable paper saver. The solvent tank is conveniently located on the side of the machine, eliminating the need to stop production for refilling.
