Instrument combines power of high-res DSO with PC capabilities

7 November 2001 Test & Measurement

Spescom MeasureGraph has introduced the ACCURA 100 from Nicolet Instrument Technologies. The ACCURA 100 combines the power of a high resolution DSO with the capabilities of a Windows PC in a single system.

ACCURA's 100 MSa/s 12 bit (0,025% resolution) digitisers offer 16 times the resolution of typical 8 bit scopes. Combined with ultra-low noise amplifiers it offers superior performance. ACCURA continues Nicolet's commitment to provide safe, quality measurements. The New High Common Mode Differential IntelliProbe, places the amplifier at the signal source for improved high frequency common mode rejection and 0,25% accuracy at the probe tip while offering more than 100 dB CMRR at 100 Hz and over 60 dB CMRR at 1 MHz.

The instrument offers up to 2 million data points of memory per channel assuring worry free capture of transient events with no compromise of sample rate. Internal floppy and hard drives, coupled with high speed 100 Mbit/s Ethernet, USB and PCI connectivity enables unlimited data storage and communication.

Additional key features include:

* Large 10,4" SVGA display plus video output for large meetings and presentations.

* Sophisticated array of realtime measurements and automated test sequences.

* Onboard analysis and custom reporting software for sophisticated 2D and 3D plots.

* Direct data interchange to MS-Office and many popular third party software packages.

* DataSentry remote monitoring for long distance troubleshooting applications.

* ACCURAlink software emulates the display and user interface from a remote site.

* Integrated PC enables seamless data transfer to onboard Nicolet analysis software via COM.

The ACCURA 100HV model also meets the IEC/IEEE standards for high voltage measurements.
