From Pervasive Displays comes a 2,15” a-Si, active matrix TFT, electronic paper display (EPD) panel with a high enough resolution (110 dpi) to easily display fine patterns.
Due to its bistable nature, the panel requires very little power to update and needs no power to maintain an image.
Featuring an internal timing controller embedded in the COG (chip-on-glass) of the panel, development time and complexity of using EPD is significantly reduced. A new EPD extension kit generation 2 (EXT2) has also been launched for developing with this 2,15” and current sub-3” EPDs.
The display has outline dimensions of 59,2 x 32,2 x 1,0 mm, is RoHS compliant, and can be interfaced via SPI. It displays black and white images and is treated with an anti-glare surface.
