The JMI-100/200 inclinometer series from Jewell Instruments is a versatile, lightweight and robust sensor offering a low-cost alternative to most traditional inclinometers. The devices utilise MEMS capacitive technology and are available in single (JMI-100) or dual-axis (JMI-200) configurations. Measuring ranges of ±14,5°, ±30° and ±90° are available, with 3 milliradian resolution and ±5 V d.c. output. The inclinometers are also RoHS compliant to suit environmental requirements.
With a lightweight aluminium enclosure, the JMI is conducive to many OEM applications and with an IP65 seal, 100 G shock rating and -40°C to +85°C operating range, it holds up to many harsh environments. It is a suitable solution for industrial automation, construction and agricultural equipment, platform levelling, mobile radar, mobile cranes, railway track and maintenance, and more.
