The 850 MEMS Tuff Tilt series is the latest addition to Jewell Instruments’ electrolytic tilt meter line for geophysical and geotechnical applications. This versatile, rugged, weatherproof tilt meter is a low-cost alternative to most sensors for the geotechnical market.
The 850 Tuff Tilt series contains MEMS technology and is available in uniaxial and biaxial models. ±14,5°, ±30° and ±90° measuring ranges are available with a 0,002° resolution and ±5 V d.c., 0-5 V d.c. and 4-20 mA outputs. It is also RoHS compliant to suit environmental requirements.
With the affordability and durability that the 850 series presents, it can be used for platform levelling/positioning, structural monitoring, industrial machinery positioning, radial gate measurement and control, and more.
