Autotronik’s lineup of pick-and-place machines encompasses models designed especially for assembling LED boards, as opposed to other solutions on the market that have been adapted for use. Supporting long boards, flexible boards and circular boards, this product range includes the LD812V4, LD806V4, LD812W3 and LD806W3 models.
The machines accommodate boards as large as 1200 x 300 mm and components from 1 x 0,5 mm up to 16 x 14 mm, with placement rates as high as 15 000 components per hour. Upward-aimed true ‘vision on the fly’ alignment cameras on the pick-and-place heads allow easy setup for a wide range of LED components.
‘Sticky’ LED components are handled thanks to positive air pressure at the placement heads, while optional non-stick Teflon nozzles are also available for this purpose. The machines’ Windows-based software tools allow simple process setup, analysis and real-time monitoring.
