Voltage transducers

NK Technologies’ VTD-BD voltage transducers are high-performance models for sensing voltage in DC powered installations. Applicable for use on circuits up to 600 V d.c., they provide a fully isolated ±5 V d.c. or ±10 V d.c. output signal in response to DC voltages that change polarity. Housed in an easy-to-install DIN rail or panel mount case, the VTD-BD series comes in a variety of ranges to suit many primary voltages.

Voltage monitoring functions include the detection of below normal or brownout voltage conditions to protect against possible motor overheating. The transducers can also identify conductor loss conditions by detecting voltage reduction in one motor lead, and they monitor over-voltage conditions associated with regenerative voltage to help in diagnosing/avoiding motor drive issues.
