STMicroelectronics’ MDmesh K5 MOSFETs feature optimal RDS(on) and figure of merit for increased power density and efficiency in applications such as LED lighting, metering, solar inverters, 3-phase auxiliary power supplies and welding. They are available in 800 V, 850 V, 900 V, 950 V, 1050 V, 1200 V and 1500 V.
The range of super-junction MOSFETs was recently extended with the introduction of 900 V devices. Ensuring static and dynamic behaviour, high-efficiency and reliability in all types of flyback converters including standard, quasi-resonant and active-clamp designs. In addition, low input and output capacitances enable zero-voltage switching with minimal energy loss in half-bridge LLC resonant converters.
