Pomona Electronics has introduced a complete line of temperature probes and accessories designed to provide fast and accurate readings for liquid, gas, gel, air and surface temperature measurements. The new line is ideal for use with K-type digital thermometers or DMMs with a temperature function and includes nine K-type thermocouples, two noncontact infrared probes and a variety of connector accessories.
The thermocouple probes offer measurement ranges from -196 to +1093°C and temperature tolerance of ±2,2°C or 0,75%. Designed to provide trouble-free use in harsh environments, several of the probes feature thermoplastic handles that can withstand temperatures of up to 104°C. These probes are on 1220 mm of K-type cable which permits easy access in hard-to-reach areas.
The noncontact probes incorporate infrared technology for temperature measurements in hazardous, easily contaminated or hard-to-reach applications and feature sheathed banana plugs for use with DMMs. Two models of infrared probes are available, offering a measurement range of -18 to +260°C or an extended range of measurements from 0 to +538°C.
The addition of this versatile selection of infrared and K-type thermocouple probes to Pomona's product line offers test instrument users the broadest selection of quality test accessories. The extensive assortment of probe tip shapes and sizes provides technicians in a wide range of electronic assembly, industrial, plant maintenance, field service and test lab applications with the exact tool they need to obtain accurate temperature readings.
Pomona's temperature accessories also include do-it-yourself miniconnectors for K-type thermocouple wire and an adapter to convert banana jacks to miniconnectors for DMMs designed with the temperature function.
A 1220 mm extension cable with male and female type-K miniconnectors is also offered.
