RS expands Cosel range

14 June 2017 Power Electronics / Power Management

The range of Cosel power devices stocked by RS Components has been expanded to include more than 500 new products which are competitively priced and many of which are supplied with five-year warranties.

Key new products in the range include the compact GHA300F and GHA500F series of industry-standard 7,62 x 12,7 cm footprint units, which deliver high power density with a maximum power output of 500 W. Offering industrial and medical safety approvals and fitting 1U standard-size applications, features of the supplies include built-in fan, low leakage current, internal dual fuses and a harmonic attenuator that meets IEC61000-3-2 Class A for EMC compliance. Other features include built-in power factor correction (PFC) circuitry for decreased AC input capacity, as well as built-in inrush current, over-current and over-voltage protection circuitry. Various options are also available including remote on/off, AUX1/2 (12/5 V), and power-good signal.

Other important product ranges are the TUHS and TUNS series of AC-DC converters. The compact TUHS series offers a compact footprint for improved design flexibility. Featuring high-efficiency and low-standby power, the units accept an 85–264 V a.c. or 120–370 V d.c. universal input voltage. The TUNS high-reliability converters come with PFC circuitry, making them suitable for conduction cooling. Other features include an 85–264 V a.c. input voltage range and built-in over-current, over-voltage and thermal protection circuits.

A further addition is the CHS range of compact, high-density and high-reliability isolated DC-DC converters, which offer high efficiencies at up to 92,5% and come in the quarter-brick standard size for applications such as telecommunications. Integrated features include over-current, over-voltage and thermal protection circuitry and remote on/off.
