Taiwan Semiconductor has introduced a new ultra low capacitance ESD protection device designed to protect high-speed data interfaces.
Housed in a 2510P10 (DSON10) package with a flow-through design, the TESD5V0V4UA is a 4-Line ESD protection diode array supporting surge resistance requirements for high-speed data lines such as USB and HDMI.
The device meets IEC61000-4-2(ESD) guidelines for ±17 kV(air) and ±12 kV(contact), and features low load capacitance of 0,65 pF and low maximum leakage current of < 0,1 A(at the working voltage of 5,5 V).
