Traco Power’s TMA series are miniature, isolated 1 W DC-DC converters in a single-in-line package (SIP). The converters require only 1,2 cm² board space, making them ideal for many space critical applications for board level power distribution. The use of SMD technology makes it possible to offer a product with high performance at low cost.
The TMA series is available with input voltages from 5 V to 24 V, in single and dual output models. The converters have high efficiency of up to 81% and an I/O isolation of up to 1000 V d.c. When it comes to quality, the converters have a 100% burn-in cycle of 8 hours and come with a 3-year warranty, giving the end-user peace of mind.
According to Daniel Haywood at South African distributor Conical Technologies, with a price of less than R60,00 each for 10 pieces, these units are some of the most competitive converters on the market, ideally suited for everyday voltage regulation applications.
