Proteus IoT Builder, a new drag-and-drop development tool from Labcenter Electronics, aims to make it possible to build and deploy an IoT project in minutes. Developers can pick from a library of beautifully designed SVG graphics controls such as buttons, gauges, sliders and graphs and then interact with the design from a smartphone, tablet and/or web-browser.
With the option to develop application logic in either the drag-and-drop Proteus Visual Designer flowchart environment or C/C++, IoT Builder is suitable for both beginners as well as advanced users. The tool is currently available for the Arduino Yun, with support for further platforms such as Raspberry Pi planned.
