Digital-Logic's SMGXPC embedded PC module to PC/480 standard uses the highly integrated Geode GX1 processor from National Semiconductor. This processor includes a x86 processor core, display controller with 2D graphics accelerator, main memory and PCI bus host controller. The PC/480 standard combines all signals, common interfaces, ISA and PCI bus on a single bus. The module has two connectors with 480 contacts. The 300 MHz SMGXPC has dimensions of 66 x 85 mm, and a flat, low profile design. It has a large main memory which can be fitted individually with SODIMM components from 16 MB to 128 MB SDRAM on module. Also integrated are two USB interfaces and an optional LAN interface. The standard version further includes interfaces for two hard disks, floppy disk, keyboard, mouse, printer and TTL ports at COM1 and COM2. The SMGXPC runs under Win 98/CE/2000 and others, such as Linux, QNX and RTXDOS.
