Microchip's 80 mA low dropout regulator (LDO) in space-saving SC-70 package, offers a high performance-to-package ratio. Designers can replace SOT-23 LDOs with a 50% smaller solution without compromising performance. The TC1016 device offers extremely low dropout voltage (150 mV at 80 mA) and low-supply current (50 µA). The key features of this device improve system performance, reduce board space and minimise system cost. It offers a smaller alternative to existing LDOs while delivering superior performance. High output voltage accuracy (±2,5% max.) and good dynamic behaviour meet demanding power supply requirements. A shutdown mode can further reduce power consumption to 0,05 µA. Max output current is 80 mA.
