Thumbstick gets threaded plastic housing and new handles

APEM’s TS series thumbstick is now available with a threaded plastic D-flat housing, making for simplified drop-in panel installation. The TS series is a miniature joystick featuring contactless Hall effect technology to provide long-life proportional control.
Similar in size and operation to ‘gamepad’ controls and now easier to install, the TS with plastic threaded housing is ideally suited for high-volume, price-sensitive applications including UAV and material handling remote controls. Mounting accessories include a plastic wing nut that allows for tightening to 45 N.
In addition to the plastic threaded housing, the TS series is now available with two new handle options. The ‘Quadcave’ and ‘Puck’ handles have been stylistically designed to provide ergonomic control. Both handles are made from injection moulded, glass filled nylon to provide optimum robustness and chemical resistance.
