Stereo microscope without eyepieces

Lynx is a further development of Vision Engineering's patented Dynascope technology. This model offers exit pupil expansion and a resultant massive increase in eye relief and freedom of head and body movement.

According to the manufacturer, this breakthrough is achieved by the use of a multifaceted rotating lenticular disk where over 3,5 million discrete image-forming surfaces provide an exit pupil with an area 64x larger than that of conventional eyepiece microscopes. The resulting high degree of radial and axial head freedom and the freedom to wear eyeglasses or contact lenses result in major improvements in operator comfort efficiency and throughput over prolonged working periods.

This eyepieceless microscope provides a 26,4° field angle and optimises head and body freedom giving 10 mm radial head freedom and 70 mm axial head freedom. Zoom magnification is 6-40x multiplied by combinations of objective lenses and multipliers.

The microscope has a stable focusable stand with adjustable, swing-away boom mount. Illumination is by 150 W/21 V halogen ringlight or (optionally) 250 W/24 V halogen lamp.
