Voltage Multiplier Industries announced the release of its new SMF50FF3 SMD high-voltage diode. It has a working reverse voltage of up to 5000 V(rwm) and an average rectifier current of 0,040 A at 55°C. The device has a reverse current at Vrwm of 0,1 μA at 25°C.
The SMF50FF3 is robust enough to handle a single cycle surge current of up to 2 A for 8,3 ms and repetitive surge currents of 0,4 A. It has a reverse recovery time of 30 ns, and a standard operating temperature range of -65°C up to 175°C.
Competitively priced, the SMFs are VMI’s standard hermetically-sealed high-voltage diodes in a new package for added voltage isolation. The SMF package size is 6,1 x 3,5 mm.
