Microchip has expanded its power management product family with four low-cost system supervisors. The TCM809/810 devices are available in 3-pin SOT-23 and Tiny SC-70 package (a third less space than SOT-23). The TCM811/812 devices are housed in 4-pin SOT-143 packages, require only 6 µA and are available in a variety of reset threshold (1,75 V to 4,63 V) options that require no external components. TCM809/810 are designed to monitor Vcc in digital systems and provide a reset signal to host processor. They feature low 12 µA supply current and 140 ms guaranteed min reset pulse widths. The devices are also optimised to reject glitches on Vcc that could result in false alarms. TCM810/812 have active-high reset outputs and TCM809/811 are active-low.
