The N1540 from Novus is a popular indicator for instrumentation testing and measurements. It is part of a range of microprocessor panel indicators commonly used in industrial processes for the indication of temperature, humidity, pressure, flow and other electrically measurable variables. One useful additional feature is the USB port.
This process meter is designed with advanced technology for high performance and reliability in demanding electrical applications. With a very short 34 mm depth enclosure, it can easily be installed in panels and enclosures where space is at a premium. Dual alarm relays and a convenient 24 V auxiliary power supply are also available.
Based on an advanced and robust hardware platform, the N1540 can be fully programmed via its front keypad or via the USB interface. The USB interface makes the programming task a simple one-step, fool-proof operation. For example, it allows setup of several instruments with the same programming parameters with ease. The USB interface also provides a means for continuous monitoring of the measured process variable.
The sampling rate of up to 50 measurements per second satisfies the demands of most high-performing equipment, while a silicone rubber keypad including the IP65 UL 94 V-2 front cover is conducive for most working environments.
